Srinath College of Education Celebrates Fresher’s Day with Great Enthusiasm.
Jamshedpur: Srinath College of Education in Jamshedpur recently celebrated Fresher’s Day with great enthusiasm. The event, named ‘Fresco-23 Party’, was organized by the students of B.Ed and D.El.Ed of semester 2021-23 on Saturday, April 8.
The festivities began with a welcome dance performed by the ‘Thumkeswari Group’ of B.Ed, followed by a ramp walk by the freshers. The ramp walk was judged by Asst. Prof. Mr. Shashi Kant Singh, Asst. Prof. Miss Jaya Rani Mahato, and Asst. Prof. Miss Shalini Chakraborty. The title for the Best Walk was awarded to Neha Sundi, while Mahima Kumari won the title for Best Attire. Anand Mahato and Kavita Kumari were crowned Mr. and Miss Fresher, respectively.
The Vice-Chancellor of Srinath University, Dr. Gobind Mahto, addressed the students and wished them a bright future. He emphasized that such events build strong bonds between juniors and seniors and that the college is always there to support its students. He also stressed the importance of hard work in achieving success.
Mrs. Rachna Rashmi, the Dean of Students Welfare (DSW) at Srinath University, welcomed all the students of the new batch (2022-23) and highlighted how such events create a sense of fraternity among students. She also assured the students that their seniors would always guide them.
The faculty members of the department and non-teaching staff were present on the occasion. The entire program was anchored by Ishita and Basanti Mahato, students of B.Ed., and the vote of thanks was proposed by Aarti Kumari.
Overall, the Fresher’s Day celebrations at Srinath College of Education were a huge success, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a spirit of camaraderie and celebration.
