Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti was celebrated at Srinath University “

Srinath University in Adityapur celebrated Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti in their University Auditorium. The Programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Dr Govind Mahato,Vice Chancellor and all the faculties of Srinath University.The Host for the Programme was Purnendu Pushkar from School of Education.
A cultural Dance was presented by the students of the University.
Rakesh Pradhan from MBA presented a speech on the journey and learnings of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
While interacting with the students ,Dr Govind Mahato said ” Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti officially known as Parakram Diwas or Parakram Divas, is a national event celebrated in India to mark the birthday of the prominent Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.Netaji always believed India as a spiritual nation with indomitable energy. Though he coul d not immediately succeed in liberating India through the military expedition he staged in 1944, he never lost his hope. He urged the army men to stay positive and keep doing what best they could do for the nation.Through his contributions we should learn that One individual may die for an idea, but that idea will, after his death, incarnate itself in a thousand lives. Remember that the greatest crime is to compromise with injustice and wrong. He advised the Students to always remember the eternal law which says that you must give if you want to get. Freedom is not given, it is always taken.”
The students executed a tribal dance which mesmerized the audience.Prior to the conclusion of the Programme,the vote of thanks was given by Ishita Roy from Deparment of Education .
